VIDEO: Gerry’s Journey (6 min video)

Hope Beyond Hell author Gerry Beauchemin tells how he finally came to believe that Hell is not forever. His book presents much Biblical evidence affirming that God’s love for all people will never fail or end. You can download the book free on our site.

To understand more the Scriptural or Biblical evidence upon which Gerry bases his hope, read “Hope Beyond Hell.”

Are you prepared to give an answer for the hope that is in you?  “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect” ( 1 Peter 3:15 NIV).

“Lord, thank you for dying on the cross to redeem all of humanity, including my brother Bob and all our lost loved ones. There are so many people in this world desperate for GOOD NEWS. They are in deep pain and anguish. Many cannot sleep at night. Some are thinking of committing suicide.

When you saw the crowds, you were moved with compassion for them (Mt 9:36) because they were distressed and dispirited like sheep without a Shepherd (NAS). Then immediately you said ‘the laborers are few and the harvest is plentiful; pray the Lord to send out workers into His world harvest field!’  Lord, please melt our selfish hearts and make us like you in. You have showered us with the WONDERFUL NEWS of your unfailing and unlimited love for all people. We ask that you would shine your love for all brightly through each of us. Oh that your glorious Love will take the world by storm through the power of your Holy Spirit and through the genuine love and unity in spirit among all your followers throughout the world (prayer request of Jesus in John 17) . In your precious Name we ask.”

I grew up in home where reconciliation was taught and in a church where reconciliation was taught. I knew about the traditional hell, but I never had the burden of believing it as a reality for close family (or anyone for that matter). When I started out on my own, I was challenged to defend my belief in a God who will save everyone. I started to think that I might be wrong because how could the greater part of the church miss this? I decided to put aside my preconcieved ideas and honestly study to find traditional hell. I started with researching the word, “hell” and “The Rich man and Lazuras” and “lake of fire” for proof-text. I thought, if hell exists then these studies will lead me to an unavoidable conclusion that eternal damnation is indeed biblical. What I found was quite different. Everytime I dug, I didn’t find eternal damnation. The idea of a never ending torture wasn’t really there. The bible speaks of a coming judgement by a Righteous Judge. When you try to define what the judgement is going to be, you can’t honestly prove that never ending torture is the answer. Therefore I would encourage anyone to look, dig for the truth and be honest with yourself. The time spent in God’s word will be rewarding.

    Dear Gerry,

The video moved me to tears. Thank you so much, it was a very beautiful explanation. I pray each day for the eyes and ears to be opened for those who do not know this message. Our God is LOVE. Love never fails. After going through many messages/books on this very subject, the only conclusion that ANYONE can rightfully come to is that HELL is NOT eternal!! Hell is remedial because of LOVE. To believe this message with all of your heart is to be truly free. I am so grateful for His Mercy, His Grace, His Compassion. May we never doubt the power of Love, the power of God. Amen.

God Bless you, Gerry. Will be praying for your brother, Bob.. that he receives this message, that God will shed his Light upon him and give him Peace.

    In Him,
    Rose

    Gerry,
Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I am one who read your book with a Bible in hand, magnifying glass in the other, and tried to find holes…..I couldn’t find any… I spent nearly three months with Hope Beyond Hell, I am so grateful for the change that God has made in me, and brother, it was very moving to see you tell us about the day that you came to understand that we are all saved, yes all, even your brother! Thanks again for sharing! I will be sharing this with everyone that I have shared your book with!
    Most Sincerely,
    Allegra

    Hey, Gerry.

I had been a Christian for 30 years before I came to this perspective. Though I had been a born-again believer all that time, I could never really love people until that door opened.

    Thanks for your good work.

    Dear Gerry,
PTL!!! What a powerful – and beautiful – testimony to the wondrous and unbelievable (almost) love of God for His creation, for each of us. Ah, that this would be viewed by all who see God as being more cruel to man than what man does to man. Hallelujah, that isn’t so.
    Thank you for this. Beautiful.

    Dr. Gerry!!!

Love your words above…you had me all tear-eyed at the end. I always feel as though I am sitting at the feet of Christ when I hear folks tell HOW Father began showing them truth. I could listen for hours. Bless you! Thank you for your book ‘Hope Beyond Hell’ and the abridged version to get folks to wet their big toe in. May Father continue to bless you and keep His Palm around you and your whole family. I often wondered WHY you were not one of the Speakers at the Conventions Sam and I attended…you just seemed to have a quiet gentle spirit….then this AMAZING book comes out of your heart. THANK YOU GERRY!!! (((Hugz)))

Dear Gary thanks so much for the video, it meant a lot to me, particularly tonight I felt drained and blue. I feel the same way as you that God does love all of us, and that an eternity of torment for those who chose not to know him for whatever reason, just cant be a part of Gods plan. I have started to read your book and and Iam trying to understand the scriptural explanation of an all inclusive loving creator without an eternal hell in the picture. So thats first then secondly iam hoping to be able to communicate that effectively to the Christians and non -Christians I know( Iam not looking forward to the rejection for the supposed heretical stance of not believing in hell) and third I would love to find a fellowship of believers that are like minded. But it is great to be able to see you on video talking about your experiences because then I dont feel so alone, my husband is a Christian also and cant except the whole doctrine of hell that is normally preached but he has given up thinking there is a fellowship out there, that could possibly be a rich blessing to all. anyway thanks again, Love in Christ, Belinda Moses, Grans Pass, Oregon

    Gerry:

Back in the early 1970’s I had an extensive relationship with the ministry of Grace Community Church where John MacArthur is pastor. Pastor MacArthur, in the past, took time to personally answer my questions about the Book of Hebrews 6:4, and eternal salvation of the believer. I faxed him a copy off all your endorsements from the different pastors and spiritual leaders. He has deferred answering my letter to his personal assistant, Richard P. Gregory. So, I am sure today, he will be viewing your website. So I am anticipating a reply by the end of the month.

    Sincerely in Christ,

    Albert

Thank you for confirming some of the other studies I have been involved in over the past year or so. My wife still can’t believe the trditionalist hell for eternity. Where would one find a seminary or even online study for a degree that has restorationist teaching? I am ready to go “all-in”. I have been a Christian since 1972, was an elder in a penticostal church for 14 years but, God moved me on and now I tell people that I belong to “The Church in The Wildrness” because I feel alone in this teaching. Please help….Great job with this website, I know God led me to this and God Bless….Because He will…

Thanks for your note Dave. I think we are all in the Church in the Wilderness and have to trust the Holy Spirit to lead us into all the truth. I do not know of any seminary on restoration teaching. If I should discover one, I’ll included on my Helpful Resources page. Thanks too for your very kind comment. Blessings to you!
