Is there hope beyond death and even Hell? Yes, according to prominent early church Fathers. Watch this excellent 6 minute video on ultimate destiny.
Hell: Has it Always Been Forever? by George W. Sarris.
George narrates the N.I.V. Audio Bible by Zondervan and also “Hope Beyond Hell” Audio book. He’s an actor, author, speaker, storyteller, theologian, and family man. He wrote a soon to be published book (Is God Good?) on human destiny. I was privileged to read the manuscript. It is excellent. In fact I am in the process of reading it a second time. I plan to include it on our “Helpful Resources” page as soon as it is available. I will send out a notice to our email subscribers when it is published. “Is God Good?” is a carefully researched, well documented study by a seminary educated, theologically conservative Christian that looks honestly and carefully at the major Biblical and historical issues relating directly to the concept of Hell. It concludes that the traditionally held belief in the conscious, endless suffering of the wicked is not the true teaching of Scripture. The book argues persuasively that the Biblical Hell is remedial in nature, and temporary in duration. God will ultimately restore all of His creation to its intended perfection.”

“This is certainly one of the better arguments I have heard for universal restoration. You are thorough and fair with all the appropriate texts and theological concerns. . . . I have read a fair amount on the topic, so I know the issues involved. I wish Rob Bell had taken the trouble to lay out his arguments in such a clear and responsible exegetical fashion. We might be able to have an intelligent conversation about the topic in our movement!”

[…] Just watched this video I had emailed to me. I think it will certainly give peace of mind to those who have lost loved ones and friends and doubted where they have ended up because they thought they were not saved. It's only 6 mins long, I hope it blesses and touches the hearts of all who watch it. Hell: Has It Always Been Forever? (6:43 min video) […]

This makes the gospel such WONDERFUL news! As a parent, I sometimes must administer painful consequences to my children–never out of revenge, or to exact justice, but to drive them to repentance and change their course of action. It’s always designed to get them back on track, and it’s entirely motivated out of LOVE for them. Because I know that the path they are on will cause ultimate pain and suffering, I’m willing to exact just enough punishment (not too much and not too little) to accomplish good. God our father, I believe is the same way. The punishment is designed to bring us to the end of ourselves and to see our desperate need. When all of our idols are burned away as dross, we can finally see the true object of our affection which is Christ himself. Because God is good, he will not inflict pain, unless absolutely necessary to accomplish his purposes (Christ on the cross is a perfect example). Christ HAD to suffer because there was no other way for all of us to be saved. I believe Hell exists because it is the only way to bring evil, unrepentant sinners to their knees and God will do whatever is necessary to bring ALL people to himself for his glory and man’s ultimate happiness.

I love the quotes of Clement of Alexandria! It’s surprising to see what the early church fathers said. We need to pay attention to church history.
