Instead, it points to a position of status and authority – as one who has come of age. Regarding this word,” Greek scholar, William Barclay writes: “Paul is introducing us to another of the great metaphors.”¹ The Oxford American Desk Dictionary defines metaphor as “application of a name or descriptive term or phrase to an object or action to which it is not literally applicable (e.g., killing him with kindness). Gerry, this concept of GOD (Great Organizing Designer) as a Unconditionally Loving Father is the most the reasonable, logical and sensible perception one can have a GOD of creation. The traditional teaching in the Christian Religion of GOD as a harsh judge who condemns the vast majority of His children to everlasting torment, foe “not accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior” with no chance forgiveness or mercy ever being available to them is insanity, as well as not being Biblical. Every knee shall bow, every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord of All to the Glory of GOD”.Jesus said “I will draw All men unto me”. This will be the experience that everyone will have if not in this age then in the age to come, if not in this physical life then in the life to come after this life. “GOD’s Mercy endures forever”. Every” prodigal son” will “come to his senses” and return to his Father. It’s the Unfailing Love of our Father that eventually “awakens” the spiritual consciousness within the soul of every man and woman, of course. Jesus said, “You MUST be born again of the Spirit”. I understand this to mean, you Wil be born again of the Spirit, as it is part of your metamorphosis processing into the image of Christ.

I want to help you get this message out. Let’s talk.
