My prayer: “Lord, thank you for dying on the cross to redeem all of humanity, including my brother Bob and all our lost loved ones. There are so many people in this world desperate for good news. They are in deep pain and anguish. Many can’t sleep at night; some are thinking of committing suicide. Hi, I’m Gerry Beauchemin, the author of “Hope Beyond Hell.”
In my first video, I explained why “Love Wins” is not Universalism because of how that term is misused.
In this video, I briefly share a few key points to show Biblically, why Love does win.
Jesus said “I if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw (lit. drag) all men to myself.
(John 12:32 – draw is drag; Strong # 1670)
He’s the good shepherd who never gives up searching for his lost sheep.
(Matthew 18:10-14, Lu 15:1-7)
John calls him the Savior of the World.
(John 4:42; 1Jn 4:14)
He came to destroy the devil’s works and did exactly that.
(1 John 3:8)
As the sin of one man condemned all humanity, in the same way the sacrifice of Jesus sets all men free.
(Romans 5:18)
Could Christ do any less than Adam did? To think so would dishonor His precious blood shed for all. But now, says Hebrews, we do not yet see all subject to Jesus. But it’s inevitable;
(Hebrews 2:8)
Scripture will be fulfilled.
(Luke 18:31; 24:44
Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord to the glory of God.
(Philippians 2:9-11)
Only true worship glorifies Him. And no one can say Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.

But you might ask: Will not hard core sinners resist God forever by their free will? No! What Scripture says that? Paul says God works in us both to will and do His good pleasure.

Who comes to God on their own? Did you?

Aren’t we all dead in sin, depraved, and utterly helpless?
(Romans 5:6-10; 6:20;7:7-11; John 15:5)
It’s God who transforms our wills. He said to Israel, I will give you a new heart and cause you to walk in my statutes.
(Ezekiel 36:25-27)
God’s no respecter of persons; what He does for one, He does for all, though not in the same way or at the same time. God threw Paul to the ground to get his attention – the chief of sinners. What will He not do to drag sinners to Himself?
(Romans 2:11; Acts 10:34; 22:5-7)
And also, God said “All souls are mine.”
(Ezekiel 18:4)
We belong to Him. And if we’re lost forever, it’s His loss. And friends, God’s not a loser, especially in view of the cross. He has never given anyone absolute free will. Daniel says God does according to HIS will. No one can restrain His hand.

Absolute free will that would damn us forever in hell is NOT free; it’s bondage of the worst kind imaginable.
Is it true that only in THIS life God can save us? What Scripture says that? Luke says, He’s not the God of the dead but of the living, for all live to Him.”
(Luke 20:38)
Death is no barrier to God. Paul said the last enemy to be destroyed is death. And when death no longer exist, what’s left? Life!
1Corinthians 15:26)
Heb says that after death, there’s judgment.
(Hebrews 9:27)
So what does judgment mean? The prophet Habakkuk said, Oh Lord, You have appointed them for judgment, you have marked them for correction.

Did you get that? Judgment means correction. Isaiah said, “When your judgments are in the earth the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.
(Isaiah 26:9)
Judgment teaches righteousness. And God said “I don’t change; therefore you’re not consumed.”
(Malachi 3:6)
He’s the same, yesterday, today, and forever.
(Hebrews 13:8)
His judgments always have purpose.
But many assert that God’s holiness requires Him to punish sinners forever. But there’s one thing missing here. “Behold the lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.”

His holiness is fully satisfied in the death of Christ. Hebrews says He tasted death for everyone!

John said “He’s the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only, but for the whole world.
(1John 2:2)
Paul said it pleased the Father to reconcile all to Himself having made peace through the blood of His cross.
(Colossians 1:19-20)
But then, you’ll ask me, “What about Matthew 25 where Jesus sends selfish people to eternal punishment?”

Renowned Greek scholar William Barclay says the Greek word for punishment here means corrective discipline in Greek literature.

The Rotherham translation reads “age-abiding correction.
According to a new scholarly work titled, “Terms for Eternity,” the Greek word for eternal “aionian” when associated with life or punishment in the Bible denotes a belonging to the world to come.

John the apostle defined eternal life in three distinct ways. As knowing God, as Christ Himself, and as the Father’s command.
(John 17:3; 1 John 5:20; John. 12:50)
Aionian life & judgment refer to a quality of experience. Thus the popular argument which says that unless eternal punishment is forever, neither is eternal life, is clearly refuted. Their durations are not at all relative to each other. Aionian life is a quality of essence, an end in itself, while aionian judgment is a means to an end; one that brings correction, restoration, and glory to God.
Regarding Jesus teaching on hell or Gehenna fire, I refer you to his very first lecture about it in Matthew five.

There He expressly states that judgment is experienced “until” the last penny is paid. The context is Gehenna fire. He repeats this again in chapter 18 and Luke 12.

And in the story of the rich man and Lazarus, the duration of that judgment is not stated.
(Luke 16: 19-31)
Luke 16 cannot contradict Matthew five. The great gulf is no different than prison bars. Both are barriers that cannot be passed until the last penny is paid.

God’s judgment “fires” represent His transforming work in our lives. Fire was an element of life, of purification, of transformation.
(Isaiah 4:5; Malachi 3:3; 2 Peter 3:10)
God Himself is a consuming fire.
(Hebrews 12:29)
Christ’s eyes a flame of fire.
(Revelation 1:14)
The seven lamps of fire are the spirits of God.
(Revelation 4:5)
The throne of the Ancient of Days is a flaming fire with wheels burning with fire.
(Daniel 7:9)
A river of fire flows from before him.
(Daniel 7:10)
His ministers are a flame of fire.
(Hebrews 1:7)
He’s like a refiner’s fire
(Malachi 3:2)
and appeared to Moses in fire.
(Exodus 3:2)
He answers Gideon, David, Elijah and Elisha by fire.
(Judges 6:21; 1Chronicles 21:26; 2 Kings 2:11; 6:17)
He gave His law in fire
(Deuteronomy 33:2)
and the Holy Spirit descends in fire.
(Acts 2:3)
Christ baptizes with fire.
(Matthew 3:11)
There’s even a lake of fire in the very presence of the Lamb with judgment fairly apportioned according to works.
(Revelation 14:10; 20:12-15)
Fire, fire, the Bible’s full of fire. Fire tries everyone’s work and saves us “as by fire.”
(1Corinthians 3:13, 15)
Fire is a positive thing in God’s economy. Everyone is purified by it. Note that this fire is in some way linked to Gehenna fire.

Look it up. It says “Everyone” goes through it. Fire transforms us into the very image of Christ!
Do you realize, the belief that “Love Wins” is not new? It was the prevailing view of the early church in its first 500 years, and a remnant has believed it throughout the centuries.

But you might ask, “Why has God kept this truth hidden for 1500 years?” And I would ask: Why has He hid justification by faith for 1500 years until Martin Luther? Why has He blinded Israel of His acceptance of all nations? Why did Christ tell his disciples He had many things to tell them but they couldn’t bear it or grasp it then?

I believe in progressive revelation, that God unfolds more and more truth to His people throughout all time. Pro says it’s the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of Kings is to search it out. Will you search this out?

One final point: The apostle Paul in all his writings used the word Hell (Hades) only one time. Please listen carefully to what He said,” Oh death where is your sting, Oh Hades where is your victory.

” Dear friends, Hell is not victorious, because Love, in the end, does win. [End Script]
